The opposition will decide following a discussion: KCR on the PM nominee for the 2024 election

Sushil Kumar Modi also responded to the meeting and said that KCR is not excepting Nitish Kumar as a PM candidate.

India’s Patna (Bihar), September 2 (ANI): In answer to a query on whether Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, will run as the opposition’s candidate for prime minister, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) said that the opposition parties would meet and decide that.

KCR was questioned about if Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar would be the opposition’s next candidate for prime minister while speaking to the media during his visit to Bihar.

He sidestepped the direct reaction by claiming that all of the opposition parties would band together and then choose a candidate for prime minister.

During a press conference, it was evident that Nitish Kumar urged KCR to ignore the question as he was answering it.

When Nitish Kumar was prepared to leave, KCR repeated asking him to sit down, “Aap Baithiye,” but Nitish kept saying, “Aap Chaliye Na,” or “Let’s go.”

As for the meeting between KCR and Nitish, BJP leader Amit Malviya claimed that KCR was the one who was insulted.

“Did KCR travel to Patna to receive such slander? In a news conference, Nitish Kumar didn’t even give him the courtesy of allowing him to finish his thought. KCR begged Nitish to let him finish, but he refused. Then again, there is Nitish Kumar. Self-conceited. KCR requested it,” he wrote in his tweet.

Speaking to ANI, Sushil Modi stated, “KCR didn’t even acknowledge Nitish Kumar as a PM candidate and flatly denied it. In spite of KCR’s repeated attempts to have him sit down during a news conference, Nitish Kumar attempted to leave when they were questioned about it.

KCR and Nitish were singled out by the BJP leader, who claimed that individuals whose own CM seats are in jeopardy are daydreaming about becoming prime minister. It will be better for KCR to retain his position as chief minister in the upcoming Telangana elections.

On Wednesday, Rao travelled to Bihar to meet with Tejashwi Yadav, the deputy chief minister, and Kumar to talk about politics at the federal level. (ANI)
