Disney unveils robot Donald Trump, Twitter ridicules calling it ‘nightmarish’

The Hall of Presidents' robotic Trump figure was unveiled at Magic Kingdom on Tuesday.

NEW DELHI: Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Orlando took to Twitter to troll the animatronic version of United States President Donald Trump at the updated Hall of Presidents attraction, recently revealed by Walt Disney World.

The less-than-flattering figure has been garnering criticism for its likeness of the president.

With just one tweet, the wax museum’s Orlando branch took down Disney’s version and compared it with its own Trump figure.

The tweet was simple: “ME AT THE START OF 2017 VS ME NOW.” The pictures – Trump’s wax statue sitting at Madame Tussauds Orlando on the left, and Disney’s ‘robot’ version on the right, however, won the game.

The Hall of Presidents’ robotic Trump figure was unveiled at Magic Kingdom on Tuesday.

People, soonafter, took to Twitter to tear down the figure’s face as “nightmarish,” while others said it looked like someone else entirely -Jon Voight, or Hillary Clinton.

A few Twitter users also theorised that the president’s animatronic figurine was designed to look terrible as a ‘terrible’ insult to him.

Additionally, the Trump robot not only looks (sort of) like the US president, but it speaks too, as like every sitting president, Trump has recorded the audio himself.

The Twitterati left no chance to berate this too and dubbed over the speech from the Hall of Presidents with an actual audio of Trump, such as his now-infamous Access Hollywood interview and a speech in which he called Mexicans “rapists.”

Here are some of the reactions on Twitter:

Disney had already built the Hillary robot and put a Trump wig on it. I’m serious, this is what actually happened.

It really does look like Disney made and warehoused the Hillary animatronic, then had to scramble when Trump ruined her coronation. View image on TwitterView image on Twitter
