These ‘made in China’ globes do not include Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh as part of India, Twitter complains

Some users even claimed that the said globe is available across Costco stores in the United States too.

NEW DELHI: Over the last few days, Indians living in Canada have been tweeting out to External Affairs Sushma Swaraj, MEA, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the same concern – A wrong a globe.

Twitter users have been bringing the attention of Indian authorities to a globe which depicts Kashmir as an independent authority and Arunachal Pradesh as part of China.

Tweeting out these pictures, social media users have claimed that these globes have been made in China and are being sold at Costco stores in Canada.

@SushmaSwaraj ji,Costco stores in USA selling globe with incorrect INDIA map by Chinese mfg. plz do insist Costco to remove this product.

@SushmaSwaraj Madam u might hve already received it from other sources bur adding again COSTCO MGT is selling the Globe manufactured in China in local outlets in North America, Canada.
This one found in one of local stores, INDIA map without Province of Kashmir.

One user even claimed that the said globe is available across Costco stores in the United States too.

@SushmaSwaraj -As per this globe(made in China) Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh are not part of India. This is globe is available everywhere across US Costco.

Costco is a multi-billion dollar global retailer with warehouse club operations in eight countries.
