All you need to know about Reliance Jio’s Surprise Cashback offer
Jio has begun the year with more cashback offers to its Prime subscribers. We tell you all about it.

Fifteen days left to enjoy benefits from Reliance Jio’s latest, ‘Surprise cashback’ offer. The Mukesh Ambani backed company unveiled this offer last week with the tagline ‘The new year every recharge is a pleasant surprise’.
Jio was previously promoting its ‘Triple cashback’ offer where Prime customers would get money back on recharging phones online, shopping online and cashback on e-wallets.
The operator was providing 100% cashback on vouchers of Rs 400 on every recharge of Rs 399 or above.
So what is the Surprise Cashback offer?
Jio Prime customers can avail surprise cashback of up to Rs 3,300 on every Recharge of Rs 399 or above done between December 26, 2017 and January 15, 2018.
Benefits of Surprise Cashback
The majority of the benefits provided under Jio’s Surprise cashback offer is the same as its Triple cashback offer.
The earlier offer was offering cashback of up to Rs 2,599 and its current offer entails a higher amount of Rs 3,300.
Prime customers will get 100% cashback vouchers worth Rs 400 in the form of eight vouchers of Rs 50 denomination on every recharge of Rs 399 or above. These vouchers can be redeemed, one at a time, against recharges of Rs 309 and above and against Rs 91 and above data add-ons, via My Jio app, the website reads.
The second type of cashback of up to Rs 300 is available via digital wallets during recharges. And the final cashback of up to Rs 2,600 is available through e-commerce websites on every recharge of Rs 399 or above.
When will the cashback be credited?
Most of Jio’s cashbacks are in the form of vouchers so it will be credited digitally via the company’s app or through its e-wallet.
The 100% cashback vouchers worth Rs 400 will be credited immediately into the customer’s account in My Jio app, Jio said.
While the cashback from e-wallets will be instant during recharge. The ecommerce vouchers will be provided instantly on recharge and will be visible under ‘My Coupons’ in the MyJio app.
“In case you have purchased a voucher (Plan MRP 399, 459, 499 or 509) via MyJio App during the offer period, then the cashback will only be credited once the voucher is redeemed,” Jio said.
Limit on recharges
Jio said there is a maximum of 25 recharges on a person’s Jio number at any given point of time including add-ons, top-up, plan recharges, ISD/IR packs. However, the maximum number of recharges of Rs 399 or above plans, during the offer period, can be up to 5 recharges only, per account.
Expiry date on vouchers
Cashback from e-commerce vouchers received under the ‘Surprise Cashback’ offer has a validity till March 31, 2018.
