Ivanka Trump Thanks Telangana Chief Minister For His Warm Hospitality

Describing her stay in Hyderabad as an "incredible and inspiring" experience, Ivanka Trump thanked Telangana Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao for his "warm hospitality", and said she looked forward to returning to India.

NEW DELHI:  Ivanka Trump, the daughter of US President Donald Trump, has penned a letter to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao thanking him for his hospitality during her visit to Hyderabad where she attended the Global Entrepreneurship Summit.

Describing her stay in Hyderabad as an “incredible and inspiring” experience, Ivanka Trump thanked Mr Rao for his “warm hospitality”, and said she looked forward to returning to India.

“I also want to thank you for the exquisite gift that you presented to me at the Falaknuma Palace,” Ms Trump wrote in the letter, adding that she was “deeply touched” by the Telangana chief minister’s “thoughtful gesture”.

In her letter, she also wrote that she was touched by the “warmth of the people of Telangana”.

“I look forward to returning to India in the near future!” she wrote in conclusion.

The Global Entrepreneurship Summit was co-hosted by India and the US. Ms Trump attended the event along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.

Speaking at the event, she had said “Only when women are empowered to thrive; will our families, our economies, and our societies reach their fullest potential.”

Speaking about Hyderabad, she had said “In the city of treasure, the greatest pearl is you. It is incredible to be in the ancient country brimming with technology.”

PM Modi also hosted a dinner for Ivanka Trump at the city’s famous marble Falaknuma Palace.

Apart from being an entrepreneur with a fashion company, she is also a formal adviser to Donald Trump.
