TCS releases a mobility cloud suite for businesses in the car industry

The TCS Mobility Cloud Suite consists of ready-to-deploy, industry- and cloud-agnostic, automotive-specific digital frameworks, accelerators, and use case solutions.

14 September, Mumbai (Maharashtra), India (ANI): The largest IT company in India, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), on Wednesday announced the release of a Mobility Cloud Suite to assist automotive suppliers and manufacturers in adjusting to the swift changes in their sector and hasten the growth of their ecosystems.

The TCS Mobility Cloud Suite consists of ready-to-deploy, industry- and cloud-agnostic, automotive-specific digital frameworks, accelerators, and use case solutions.

According to a statement from TCS, these carefully chosen offerings assist automakers and their solution providers in embracing digital technologies and new business models throughout the entire mobility value chain, from product design and manufacturing to sales and warranty as well as new ecosystem partnerships.

“TCS Mobility Cloud Suite is a one-stop-shop for automotive companies to unleash the power of cloud and cross-industry know-how so they can accelerate their journey toward electric and autonomous vehicles, take customer experience to new heights, and ignite new ecosystem partnerships,” said Partha Reddy, Head, Manufacturing, Energy and Resources, TCS Americas.

“It harnesses our technology expertise combined with our deep contextual knowledge of not just automotive, but all major industries, like financial services, insurance, retail, utilities, telecom, hospitality, and government, that need to work in concert to supercharge the future of the mobility ecosystem,” Reddy said.

The TCS Mobility Cloud Suite is intended to direct businesses’ technological and business initiatives, regardless of where they are in their cloud migration. In order to accomplish their targeted business goals, it complements and aids users in making the most of their current cloud and IT posture, including their selected technology solution providers and alliances.

The product creation and testing of products concurrently, autonomous factories, robust supply chains, and enhanced customer experience are all made possible by the suite’s wealth of options. Importantly, it makes navigating the developing mobility ecosystem easier so that automotive businesses may forge new alliances and economic initiatives, like subscription-based service models and public-private partnerships to enable experiences in smart cities.

The traditional divisions within the industry are becoming more ambiguous due to the development of digital technologies, rising consumer expectations, and the electrification of vehicles, not to mention the ongoing disruptions to the supply chain and the need for sustainability, which is forcing automakers and suppliers to change how they collaborate in order to hasten the automotive enterprise transformation. According to the TCS 2021 Global Leadership Study, 71% of senior automotive executives believe that by 2025, more than 25% of their income would originate from sectors and digital ecosystems they do not currently engage in.
