In his First Drive Review of Renault Triber, Auto Today Editor Yogendra Pratap said: “Triber is truly a remarkable vehicle and more so because it offers great flexibility. Not that we aren’t used to seeing such flexibility, only that we have never seen it at this price level – that of a low sub-4m hatchback. If we look at it as a five-seater, it offers exceptional in-cabin space, as well as rear-seat comfort due to a reclining and sliding rear seat. It can be used as a 7-seater and it has best-in-class luggage space, no matter what the configuration. The engine is good enough for pottering around the city though it feels rough towards the upper end and one has to work the gearbox a lot to indulge in any spirited driving.”
