Auto Expo 2018: Hyundai launches new Elite i20
The company also unvieled its Global EV, IONIQ
South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor on Wednesday launched the new 2018 ELITE i20, starting from ₹ 5.34 lakh onwards.
“The Elite i20 has been a global success with over 4 lakh customers since its launch in 2014,” Hyundai Motor India MD Y.K. Koo said.
The car will come in both diesel and petrol variants. While petrol variants will be priced between ₹ 5.34-7.90 lakh, the diesel one will be available for ₹ 6.73-9.15 lakh (ex-showroom price, Delhi).
The company also unvieled its Global EV, IONIQ. Hyundai plans to roll out its first EV in India by 2019.
“The IONIQ is a significant leap forward for Hyundai Motors as it intensifies its commitment to produce highly efficient, eco-friendly vehicles,” Mr. Koo added.
