French Air Force chief to fly India’s Tejas in Jodhpur today.

Following the visit of Chief of staff of the US Air Force, the Chief of Staff of the French Air Force, General André Lanata, arrived in Jodhpur on Tuesday.

He took information upon the defense strength and functioning of Asia’s important Jodhpur Air Force Station and also took note of flying experience with the pilots.

He will fly made in India fighter aircraft Tejas in Jodhpur airbase on Wednesday morning. It is worth mentioning that Chief of Staff of the US Air Force, General David L. Goldfein flew Tejas from Jodhpur Airbase on February 3.

After that, Chief of staff of the world’s second most powerful Air Force Airbase has come to see the strategic strength of the Jodhpur airbase. His visit is important in many ways.

While strengthening the military relations between India and France, he has also come to examine Indian technology.

Earlier, during the joint exercise of Garuda 5 between India and France in June 2014, the then chief of staff of the French Air force, Denis Mercier flew Sukhoi 30 MKI.

General Andre Lanata arrived in Jodhpur in a special aircraft from Delhi.

He is to visit Mehrangarh Fort and Umaid Bhawan Palace. He will fly Tejas on Wednesday morning and also observe Squadron of all the fighter planes including Sukhoi.

During his four-day India visit, he will be staying in Jodhpur for two days. Guard of Honor was given to the Chief of Staff of the French air force on his arrival at the Air Force headquarters in Delhi on Monday.

Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa welcomed him in Vayu Bhawan.
