Bajaj Auto today launched the new Dominar 250 in India for an introductory price of Rs 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Introduced in Canyon Red and Vine Black colour options, the 2020 Bajaj Dominar 250 gets several features that are available with its more powerful and popular sports touring cousin Bajaj Dominar 400.

Powering the new Bajaj Dominar 250 is a BS6-compliant, 248.77cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, twinspark, 4-stroke, 4-valve, DOHC, FI engine that delivers 27PS and 23.5Nm of peak torque. The claimed top speed of the 2020 Dominar 250 is 132 kmph, while it can make 0-100 kmph in 10.5 seconds.

The 2020 Bajaj Dominar 250 sits on a beam-type perimeter frame. Performing the suspension duties in the bike are telescopic 37mm USD front forks with 135mm travel and a multi-step adjustable mono-shock at the rear having 110mm wheel stroke. There are 17-inch tubeless tyres. The front has a 300mm disc, while the rear gets a 230mm disc. Also available in the new Bajaj Dominar 250 is dual-channel ABS.

The new Bajaj Dominar 250 features a mosaic-shaped full LED headlamp with AHO (automatic headlamp on) technology, spacecraft-inspired tank pad decals and twin-barrel exhaust.
