Launched in India, the Reliance JioBook laptop is under 20,000 rupees: Report

Reliance Jio is said to have just released Reliance JioBook. Live Hindustan, a sister website of the Hindustan Times, reported that a glimpse of it was also caught during the ongoing India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022 event at Pragati Maidan in Delhi.
The Government e-Marketplace now has the JioBook laptop for sale (GeM). The Government e- Marketplace (GeM), a project of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, is an online platform for public procurement in the nation with the goal of developing an open and transparent procurement platform for government clients.
This product has been created for people on a tight budget who want to purchase a laptop. It was previously disclosed that the business can make JioBook available to everyone by the end of this year.

The tablet has an 11.5-inch TN (Twisted Nematic) display with HD resolution of 1366 x 768. This laptop contains an Adreno 610 GPU and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset. It contains 32 GB of internal storage and 2 GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
The device contains a two-in-one combination connection for a headset and two microphones in addition to the twin speaker arrangement. It features an HDMI port, a USB 3.0 port, and a USB 2.0 port. Additionally to WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and microSD card compatibility, these features are offered. JioOS is the operating system that runs on this laptop.
How much does a JioBook laptop cost?
The JioBook laptop is available for purchase via the government e-marketplace for the price of 19,500. Only government personnel have access to this laptop at the moment. The rest of the clients would be able to get this affordable laptop after Diwali, the report said.
