The 7,725 kg of aid were made up of medical supplies and necessary medications.

Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine Oleksii Yaremenko, who is in charge of humanitarian help and EU integration, received 7,725 kg of humanitarian material, including basic medicines and medical equipment, according to a tweet from India in Ukraine.

India started providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine in March.

India has repeatedly demanded an immediate end to hostilities and a stop to the violence since the start of the war in Ukraine. India has urged the parties to resume diplomatic relations and talks while also pledging its support for all diplomatic initiatives aimed at resolving the dispute.

India, however, emphasised that the impact of the situation in Ukraine is not simply felt in Europe and went on to say that it has compounded worries about the security of food, fertiliser, and gasoline, particularly in developing nations.

Ruchira Kamboj, India’s permanent representative to the UN, assured the Security Council that New Delhi will continue to cooperate with the International Community to lessen economic burdens.

She noted that since the Council last considered the war in Ukraine and its humanitarian ramifications, the situation in Ukraine has not shown any appreciable improvement.

Both the security situation and the humanitarian ramifications are still grave. The reports of murders of civilians in Bucha were quite upsetting.

India anticipated that the demand for humanitarian aid will continue to receive a favourable response from the world community. India recently sent Ukraine its twelfth shipment of humanitarian aid. The Indian government’s human-centric approach is consistent with the humanitarian aid and support provided.
